What actually moves the price
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Vehicle year/make/model | The glass itself is most of the cost — economy sedan vs. luxury SUV is a different part entirely |
| ADAS camera behind the glass | Adds recalibration to the job — the single biggest price jump on modern vehicles |
| Glass features | Acoustic interlayer, heating elements, rain sensors, HUD zones all raise the part price |
| OEM vs. OEM-equivalent | Genuine branded glass costs meaningfully more; equivalent meets the same safety standards |
| Moldings & clips | Some vehicles require new one-time-use trim with every replacement |
Mobile service is included in our quotes, not a surcharge — coming to you is the whole product.
How insurance works on glass in Missouri
Comprehensive coverage (not liability) is what pays for road-debris glass damage. In Missouri you'll generally pay your comprehensive deductible on a replacement — so a $500-deductible policy and a mid-priced windshield can be a wash, while a camera-equipped windshield usually makes the claim worthwhile. Chip repair is the sweet spot: many insurers waive the deductible entirely for repairs because it saves them a replacement later. We work with all major insurers and can bill claims directly.
Getting your real number
Send year, make, model — ideally the VIN, which tells us exactly which windshield variant your vehicle takes — through the quote form. You'll get one all-in price before anything is scheduled. If the quote changes when we see the car, the job stops until you approve it; that's the standing rule.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't you just list a price?
Because 'a windshield' is dozens of different parts across vehicles — quoting one number would be wrong for most people who read it. Real vehicle, real VIN, real all-in price before you commit.
Does Missouri waive glass deductibles like Florida does?
No — Missouri isn't a zero-deductible glass state. Replacements run through your comprehensive deductible; chip repairs are often deductible-free depending on your policy.
Will a glass claim raise my insurance rates?
Comprehensive claims from road debris generally don't carry the rate impact that at-fault accident claims do, but policies vary — your agent can say for certain. For cheap repairs, paying cash and skipping the claim is sometimes simpler.
Is the mobile service extra?
No — mobile is included. It's the entire point of how we work.
